Girl Gone Quarantined: An open letter to Price Chopper at 911 Central Ave, Albany

SHAME ON PRICE CHOPPER

"I'm the primary caregiver for my partner's Grandmother. She is 77 years old and nonambulatory, which means I can shop for her between 6am and 7am.

You didn't have ANYTHING that was needed.

You had elderly people standing outside in the rain waiting, and when you opened the doors, there was NOTHING there. No toilet paper, no paper towels, no bleach, no bleach wipes etc...

You know that's what these senior citizens were there for. You didn't even have the decency to walk outside to tell the people standing in this cold rain so they could try elsewhere.

We left Price Chopper and went to Hannaford across the street - they we were stocked.

After we got everything we needed, we drove back over to Price Chopper to tell everyone outside not to bother and go to Hannaford.

I understand stores are under pressure and you can only do what you can do, however, YOU made this announcement and even had the local news there. I felt so bad for all of those people." Ms. Jane Danz

This is the third person I've seen encounter this situation just today. If you've had similar experiences, please let us know so we can give our elderly community a heads up.
